Xml Tag

This test node verifies an xml tag in an xml document. It can only be a descendant of a Xml Page test node or another Xml Tag test node. During a test run, the system tries to find a xml tag in the document, that matches the describtion.

Xml Tag

[Type]
The tag name.
[Position]
If multiple elements in the document match the description, determine, which one should be selected.
The position "any" is special. It checks all elements in question and selects the one, where also the children match.
[Text]
Search for the text of an xml tag. Text is not an attribute. Text is, what is inbetween the start and end tag.

Attributes

Here you define which attributes of the xml tag should have which value.

Action

If you select "set parameter", you can read aut the text or attribute value of a tag and asign it to a parameter.
