public class NameTextField
extends javax.swing.JTextField

This text field allows to edit the name of an object, provided the object implements the NameInterface. Simply point to the object with setPropertyOwner(java.lang.Object) or define it in the constructor. To publish changes, press the RETURN key. If the object does not implement the NameInterface, this component will be read only and show the toString() value of the object. This text field can be configured to buffer changes until ok() is called.

Add to changeListener a listener, if you want to be informed when the text is edited. The new text string is passed to the update method of the listener.

Parameters:

propertyOwner - the object of which the name should be shown and modified propertyOwner should implement NameInterface

bufferChange - if true, a new name will not be writen to the property until ok() is called.
