public class IComboBox
extends javax.swing.JComboBox
implements ListenerInterface

This combo box attaches to the property of an object. It reads and writes automatically to its defined property. It takes its selection from an ActiveCollection. It will of course adapt the selection, when the active collection changes. The nullValueText can be set to have a resonable selection text instead of a null object.

Add to selectionListener a listener, if you want to know about selection changes. The newly selected item will be passed to the update method.

Parameters:

propertyOwner - the object of which the property should be shown and modified propertyOwner needs to have two methods:
public void setPropertyName(propertyClass obj)
public propertyClass getPropertyName()

propertyName - the name of the property

propertyClass - the class type of the property

collection - the selection collection

nullValueText - a text to show instead of null

bufferChange - if true, a new selection will not be writen to the property until ok() is called.

Writes the property value to the combo box selection field, if bufferChange is true. This means,it cancels a selection, that has not been confirmed by ok()

Sets the object of which the property should be showed and modified.

object - the propety owner, must be an object with a propertyName property of type propertyClass
